What we digitize
Videotape
VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Hi8, Digital8 and MiniDV, captured uncompressed off time-base-corrected decks.
Photos
We accept individual photos of any size, as well as bound albums, scanned in place so nothing has to be peeled.
Cassette tapes
Audio cassettes transferred at 24-bit/96kHz with azimuth alignment, de-hissed only where it helps.
Discs
DVD and Blu-ray, including home-burned and finalized camcorder discs. Ripped bit-for-bit before any re-encode.
35mm slides
Mounted slides scanned at up to 4800 dpi. Dust and scratch removal by infrared channel, never by softening.

The difference, frame by frame
Enhancement is a decision, not a filter. We correct what the format cost you — dropouts, chroma bleed, interlacing artefacts, faded dye layers — and leave the grain, the colour cast and the character of the original where it belongs.

Questions people ask first
What happens to my originals?
They come back to you, insured, in the order they arrived. Every item is inventoried on intake, so a tape is never separated from its label or its case. Nothing is disposed of without written instruction.
Does anyone else watch my footage?
Only the archivist assigned to your order, and only as far as the work requires. Files stay on isolated storage, are never used for training or promotion, and are deleted from our systems 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep a backup.
How do I get my media to you?
We arrange a pick up time to securely collect your items and you'll get a photo of your items on the intake bench the day they arrive.
What if a tape is unplayable?
We tell you before we charge you. Mould, sticky-shed and snapped tape are common and usually recoverable in our lab; when something genuinely cannot be read, there is no transfer fee for that item.
Is "enhanced" going to make it look fake?
No. We deliver the untouched transfer alongside every enhanced master, so you can always go back. Our house rule is that a viewer who was in the room should recognise the room.
